The South China Rural intangible cultural heritage research center of South China Agricultural University was established in June 2013, andits director is Guan Xiying, associate professor. Based on theChinese Department, the center integrates the research power ofhistory, folklore, literature, anthropology, sociology, art and otherhumanities of our university, and employs four famous scholars fromChina intangible heritage protection expert committee, Sun Yat senUniversity and our university to conduct scientific research andsocial services in the fields of rural cultural construction andintangible cultural heritage protection. In order to provide usefulhumanistic resources for our school's humanistic education, moraleducation and general education, and strive to open up new researchand practice fields in the service of "agriculture, rural areasand farmers".
